Course goals and learning objectives
Goal of the “Market infrastructure” is to provide students with deep and comprehensive understandings of the market infrastructure institutions and their activities in the developed countries, the main directions for domestic market improvement and economic reforms.
Learning objectives: to familiarize the student with the basic concepts of of the functioning of market infrastructures, to be able to perform various types of market transactions involving institutions of market infrastructure in accordance with the objectives; to possess the practical skills in the management of market infrastructures, to calculate the financial results of transactions concluded with the participation of market infrastructures. to make managerial decisions and develop different strategies for financial and other markets.

Fundamentals of the functioning of goods market infrastructure.
Auctions
Fairs as institutions of the goods market
Commodity exchange activities
Trading houses and chambers of commerce and industry.
Warehousing and transport infrastructure.
Financial market infrastructure.
Banks as leading financial mediators. Non-bank financial institutions.
