Course goals and learning objectives
The purpose of teaching the discipline is: to acquire skills of low-level programming of computer graphics elements, to create correct geometric and realistic images on the computer screen. To acquaint students with the principles of building modern graphic systems, mastering the algorithmic foundations of two- and three-dimensional graphics, to acquire skills of creating graphic images. 
Course description
Lectures 1. Types of computer graphics. Raster and vector computer graphics. Modern computer graphic editors. Work in the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite environment. Program interface and capabilities. Working with documents. Toolbar. Working with objects,
2. Work in the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite environment - work with text, robot with layers. The basis of working with effects. Finishing for printing.
3. Graphic file storage formats. Modern graphic systems. Photoshop graphics editor interface. Image processing. Image layers. Color models and modes. Selection of areas. Transformation of the selected area.
4. Work in Photoshop Create color. Fill areas. Drawing and deleting tools. Tone image correction. Color correction.
5. Work in Photoshop. Mask and alpha channels. Vector outlines. Entering and editing text. Editing tools. Effect and warp filters Print image output
6. Work in the environment of Autodesk 3ds Max. Polygonal representation of three-dimensional objects. Fractal curves and surfaces.
7. Solid modeling. Species transformations. Lighting model.
8. Painting a polygonal model. Computer animation systems and methods.
Practical classes 1. Acquaintance of students with the literature, volume of graphic works for a semester, terms of their delivery. Working with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. Issuance of the task GRТ-1.
