Course goals and learning objectives
Discipline «Production Engineering» aims at studying the general principles of the content and stages of technological preparation of production, which assures the quality design and manufacture of the product. 
Course description
Lectures Technological preparation of production and its role in machine-building production.
Ensuring technological design of the product. Work out the design of the product for the technological.
Work out the design of the product for the purpose of identifying the necessary equipment, technological equipment, cutting tool and control means.
Development of tasks for the design of special equipment, technological equipment, cutting tool and control means.
Procedure for the compilation, approval and modification of information on technological routes.
Rules for drawing up, approving and updating information of technological routes.
Rationing the cost of materials. Calculation of consumption rates.
Preparation in detail specific material consumption standards.
Manage the process of conducting technological preparation of production.
Methods of network planning and management in the technological preparation of production.
Practical classes Development of design documentation for technological capacity.
Preparation of the information of the necessary equipment, equipment of metal cutting and measuring tools, calculation of their needs.
Development of tasks for the design of technological equipment.
Preparation of technological routes information.
Calculation of material consumption rates.
Composition according to detail material consumption rates.
Preparation of a network planning schedule for the preparation of production.
Assessment criteria
In recent years, teachers of the department pay considerable attention to the organization
independent work of students, development of criteria for assessing students' knowledge of
disciplines, forms of tests, exams.
According to the system of complex diagnostics operating at the university
students' knowledge in order to stimulate systematic and systematic
educational work, assessment of students' knowledge is carried out on a 100-point scale
system.
Forms of control of students' knowledge:
- current;
- modular;
- final (test, exam).
Assessment of students' knowledge at the university is carried out for 100-
point scale.
