5. Program of discipline

Description of academic discipline, its goals, subject of study and learning outcomes

The purpose of the course is to study the principles of solving problems of designing, analysis of modes, operation of electric energy objects and systems, as well as the creation of automated dispatch control and control systems (ASDKCs) with the use of computing equipment (OT).

Contents of the academic discipline

Laboratory classes (topics)

Permissible current loads on wires, cables and tires
Choosing the maximum current protection
Selection of cross sections of wires and cables on condition of heating
Determination of the zone of lightning protection
Grounding calculation in high voltage electrical installations
